Client Spotlight: Intercontinental Beverage Capital (IBC)
Over the last few years, our team has worked closely with Intercontinental Beverage Capital (IBC) on developing and maintaining its online presence. This year, we redesigned and relaunched IBC’s website.
What is IBC?
A valued client of Sinuate Media, IBC is a global advisory and capital formation group that works closely with functional beverage and food brands, consumer packaged goods, wellness and wellbeing products, new technologies, and packaging innovation. IBC assists the world’s largest consumer packaged goods companies and brands (think Coca-Cola and Miller Coors) as well as smaller emerging brands. The U.S.-based company’s clientele consists of businesses seeking brand growth, acquisition, and strategic guidance along their journey to success.
IBC offers a range of services including product development, strategy planning, brand design, market positioning, direct-to-consumer marketing, and so much more. Whether a brand is seeking to develop a global strategy and expand into the U.S. or looking to enter into the overseas market, IBC’s global network of over 90 investors can provide companies a wealth of opportunity. From well-established brands to emerging concepts, IBC works with every client to create a unique consumer proposition that is sure to grow.
The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed many brands to shift to e-commerce. This is especially true in the food, beverage, and wellness industries. To help clients adapt to a purely online buying and selling process, IBC shifted focus to building and maintaining their clients’ online presence through IBC’s Global Brand Services (GBS). GBS offers commercialization services that help accelerate brand presence in the online marketplace. According to IBC Managing Partner Doug Christoph, the main focus during the pandemic has been to build clients’ Amazon presence.
“We typically help brands through our relationship with Amazon where we fast track the client with their Amazon Store build-out so that they can get to selling ASAP,” said Doug. “The process can be quite frustrating and time-consuming, so GBS is there to assist them with an e-commerce accelerator to whisk them through the process with greater ease.”
Emerging brands and products
IBC has recently introduced Pep300, a new energy brand that is currently offering energy pouch packs on Amazon. Each shot pouch delivers 230mg of caffeine, just 15 calories, and vitamins B6 and B12. The energy shots are also packaged in eco-friendly, affordable, portable, and convenient pouches. These pouchs can t fit inside a gym bag, handbag, or back pocket. They come in three great-tasting flavors, and the packaging uses 75% less material than conventional PET bottle packages. The unique exterior was designed to reduce carbon emissions and greenhouse gasses, and is made from 60% recycled paper.
